Ingredients

  • 375 g Frozen French Fries
  • 1 squeeze lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garlic ginger paste
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp cumin powder
  • ½ tsp coriander powder
  • ½ tsp kashmiri chili powder (use any chili powder you have if you don't have this one)
  • ¼ tsp ground turmeric
  • ½ onion (diced)
  • 100 ml passata
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • coriander
  • natural yoghurt

Instructions

  • Begin by cooking your fries. I cook frozen french fries in the air fryer at 190℃ for 10 minutes. Follow instructions for your particular frozen fry or chip
  • 5 minutes before the fries are ready, make the sauce
  • Add chopped onion to vegetable oil over medium heat and fry until just starting to turn golden at the edges - around 3 minutes
  • Add the garlic ginger paste and cook for around 60 seconds
  • Add the spices and cook for 60 seconds
  • Add the passata, lemon juice and honey and stir to combine. Check for seasoning and simmer for a minute or two
  • Toss the fries in the sauce then top with yoghurt and coriander
