Precook the Sweet Potato For Extra Crispiness
Place sweet potato cubes into a pan of salted boiling water and gently simmer for around 7 minutes until fork tender
Drain and let them cool completely to dry out the surface.
Preheat the Air Fryer
Set your air fryer to 190°C and let it preheat for 3–5 minutes (if your model requires it).
Season the Sweet Potatoes
In a bowl, toss the sweet potato cubes with olive oil, cajun spice, salt and pepper and toss well until evenly coated
Air Fry
Spread the cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Cook at 190°C for 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
For extra crisp edges, air fry for an additional 2–3 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning. My air fryer has a crisp function which you can use here if you air fryer has a similar function.
Serve
Enjoy hot with your favourite dipping sauce, or sprinkle with fresh herbs like parsley or thyme.
